Eight of the nine packages were tendered to prime contractors and executed in full by KCK entities as sub-contractor on back-to-back terms — own finance, men, material and machinery, to the railway's rates, milestones and specifications. The nineteen-RUB package (PKG·09) was awarded directly to Teja–MVVS–KCK (JV) by South Central Railway headquarters, Secunderabad.
